Seminole Cheer

Seminole cheer is looking for people to coach our next AWSOME group of girls & boys. If you are interested, please contact Coach Liliana Solis via email [email protected]

Teams must be filled, or a refund will apply minus processing fees.

SEMINOLE CHEER CONTINUES IT'S PROUD TRADITION OF COACHING CHEERLEADERS AGES 6 AND UP TO BE CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS!

Seminole cheerleaders who have tried out for high school cheer have always made it on their high school teams. This is quite an accomplishment and success of ours we are very PROUD of. Not all recreation cheer teams are able to have this AWESOME accomplishment. Many of our cheerleaders also come back to assist in teen coaching. You can find many of our alumni at schools like ND cheer (pulls from Resurrection and Regina), Taft, Lane, Loyola, Lincoln Park, Niles West, and Niles North.

Stunting/Pyramids/Basket Tosses
Direct personal contact is prohibited, therefore the IRCA will not allow any stunting, basket tosses or pyramids or any connected types of skills for the 2020 season. The routines will be based off of cheer elements such as jumps, motions, dance and tumbling. The focus will be on the fundamentals of the sport.

PROGRAMS
Our Cheerleading program is broken down by age and grade. The team composition changes from year to year, depending on enrollment figures. Teams will depend on enrollment numbers at each grade.

ELIGIBILITY
All children are eligible to participate in the Cheer program with the exception of those who have graduated from eighth grade or turn age 15 prior to September 1 of the current year.

The Wildwood Seminoles welcomes and encourages parent volunteers as an important component in your child’s sporting experience. Your involvement helps us to keep the costs low for enrollment fees and keeps our program going. Without our volunteers this program would not be able to continue.
